Shortest BIO

Foot Squeaker are an alt-rock power trio from Ireland, weaving expansive, dynamic songs that shift from subtle to striking. With an untamed intensity and a fearless presence, they pour everything into every performance. Ireland’s been ignited — now they’re ready to set the world on fire.

Short BIO

Foot Squeaker is an alt-indie power trio from Gorey, Ireland, defined by an explosive live energy and a bold, uncompromising DIY ethos. Known for massive, dynamic songs that shift from subtle tension to striking, gritty anthems, their sound channels a raw intensity.

The band's professional ascent is marked by key collaborations and consistent radio support. Their recent singles, including 'Medals' and 'Pass It On', were mixed by Daniel Fox of Gilla Band, and have received extensive national airplay on RTÉ 2fm and international stations like Amazing Radio.

Their work has earned press acclaim from Hot Press, Clout, and Earmilk. Now, Foot Squeaker is poised for their biggest year yet, releasing their debut EP 'Arc Eye' and an Irish tour. Choosing to build their community through direct fan engagement and powerful live shows, they are a band proving that the biggest impact comes from the music itself.

Long BIO

Alt-Rock Trio | Gorey, Ireland
Active: 2019–Present | Self-Released

Members:
Diarmuid Comerford – Vocals/Guitars
Michael Lynch – Drums/Vocals
Richard Deering – Bass/Vocals

Foot Squeaker is an alt-rock trio from Gorey, Ireland, building a reputation on unfiltered energy, honest songwriting, and a live show that refuses to coast. No gimmicks. Just three musicians giving everything, every time.

Formed in 2019 by Diarmuid Comerford and his brother-in-law Michael Lynch, the band operated with a DIY ethos until the 2023 addition of bassist Richard Deering completed the lineup. Despite their small-town roots, Foot Squeaker has consistently proven that impact doesn't require a capital city postal code.

The band records out of their own studio, maintaining full creative control. Their 2025 singles Birdline, 60 Beats, and Medals were mixed by Daniel Fox (Gilla Band). Their 2024 singles Friends Like These and Pass It On drew national and international attention, including airplay on RTÉ 2fm (Beta DaSilva's show) and Amazing Radio (UK/US).

In 2025, following a period of personal loss, the band made a conscious pivot: they left social media to focus entirely on songwriting, live performance, and direct human connection. The result is their most confident work to date — the debut EP Arc Eye mixed by Johnny Fox, out April 2026, supported by an Irish tour.

"Song of the Week" – Louise Tighe, RTÉ 2fm Weekend Breakfast

"This is quite surprising. I thought they'd be kind of a middle of the road rock band but then I hear all these weird bass lines and chord progressions. A little jazzy, a little proggy. Good stuff." – Eardrum Buzz (US)

"The trio lean into their scrappy alt indie instincts with a confidence that suggests they have stopped second guessing themselves and started trusting the noise. It is messy in the right ways, sharp when it needs to be, and surprisingly thoughtful." – Jammerzine (US)

"Their debut EP ARC EYE lands as a rough-edged statement of intent, pulling together past singles and new material into something tighter, louder, and harder to ignore." – PureMZine (IRE)

"Foot Squeaker are a band that leave a lasting, memorable impression on you for all of the right reasons, and this track's thoughtful and brash nature packs a seismic, multi-faceted punch." – Clout (UK)

On "60 Beats" (2025)
"Foot Squeaker have released their explosive new single '60 Beats'. Exploring the tension between ambition and contentment, '60 Beats' centers shifts between lush, enveloping indie-rock choruses and hard-hitting emo-rock verses driven by distorted, hammering guitars." – Hot Press Magazine (IRE)
