SHORTEST BIO

Foot Squeaker are an alt-rock power trio from Ireland, weaving expansive, dynamic songs that shift from subtle to striking. With an untamed intensity and a fearless presence, they pour everything into every performance.  Ireland’s been ignited—now they’re ready to set the world on fire.

SHORT BIO

Foot Squeaker are an alt-rock trio from Gorey, Ireland, known for their massive sound that’s both bold and unfiltered. With a focus on energy and honest expression, their music isn’t just about playing songs—it’s about creating a moment and offering an experience that stays with you long after the last note fades. No gimmicks, just a band giving everything they have to every performance.

Formed in 2019 by Diarmuid and his brother-in-law Michael, Foot Squeaker started with a DIY mentality, steadily building momentum and a reputation for authenticity. With the addition of local bassist Richard in 2023, the trio is proving that you don’t need to be based in a capital city to make a significant impact on the scene. Despite their small-town roots, they’ve created a sonic punch that goes far beyond their origins.

On stage, the band’s energy is undeniable. They layer rhythms and harmonies in ways that pull you in, shifting between moments of quiet tension and explosive, gritty anthems. Their sound doesn’t fit neatly into a box—it moves between rock, indie, and alternative, always unpredictable but somehow always exactly what you need.

Recording in their own studio, the band takes full creative control of every aspect of their work. Michael and Richard’s background in video production adds a quirky, visual flair to their social media presence, making it as much of a creative outlet as their music. For Foot Squeaker, it’s all about hard work, staying true to their vision, and pushing boundaries—no shortcuts, no compromises.

The band completed the co-headline Ubh Bhriste Tour with Dublin band Drying Weather in March/April of '24, which took in the whole east coast of Ireland right up and around to Derry.
Shaking the walls of venues across Ireland including; Fibber Magees, Sin É (Dublin), The Gorey Market House Festival, Toales (Dundalk), Wexford's Crown Live, Bennigans (Derry), Geoffs (Waterford) Fred Zepplins (Cork) and McHughs (Drogheda).

2025 sees the Wexford rockers launch into the new year with new single 'Birdline' released on March 7th. They have already played a rip roaring shows in Anseo, Dublin and The Presentation Centre, Enniscorthy with other dates lined up for the Summer.
