Battling to revive a dormant music scene in their hometown of Gorey, alt-rock power trio, Foot Squeaker, have laid the first cornerstones of a new guitar band stronghold. Building hype from the ground up with a DIY mindset, the band are showing that you don’t have to be from the capital city to turn heads in the Irish Music Scene.

Accomplishing a wall of sound with only three bricks. When Foot Squeaker play live their twisted rhythms and triple vocal trickery are revelatory.

The band released three singles, ‘No Connection’, ‘Wayside’ and ‘Specimen’ over 2020, garnering radio play across Ireland and countries across the world including the UK, Canada and New Zealand.

2023 saw the band back to full focus with their new single ’Silhouette’, mixed by Daniel Fox (Gilla Band) and mastered by Darragh Nolan aka Astakalapa, released 01.09.23. The band have been shaking the walls of venues across Ireland including; Fibber Magees (Dublin), The Gorey Market House Festival, Toales (Dundalk) and Wexford's Crown Live.
Silhouette hit the airwaves on Amazing Radio UK and US (Shell Zenner & Frankie Francis), Top Of The Morning Show NZ, and countless radio shows across Ireland and abroad.

Their return single was playlisted by Spotify on Alternative Ireland and other top playlists.

'Friends Like These', again, mixed by Daniel Fox  was released March 22nd to critical acclaim:

"This catchy-yet-contemplative track shows why they're becoming one of the most interesting and innovative indie bands out there. It's sure to get people talking about what friendship even means nowadays, and cement their status as indie rock trailblazers."

- Earmilk.com

"the rock group have perfectly executed their rock and roll track in their latest single."
- Hot Press Magazine

"As authentic and down to earth as the message feels, the track itself packs a hell of a punch stylistically, melding crunching riffs and driving rhythms."
- Clout Magazine

The band have just completed the co-headline Ubh Bhriste Tour with Dublin band Drying Weather which took in the whole east coast of Ireland right up and around to Derry.

They plan to record their debut album in early '25.
